This is a very sunny one-bedroom property on the first floor of a feature-rich Victorian house, in a quiet leafy road just moments from Streatham Station, the open spaces of the Common and the buzz of the High Street.
It comprises:

It is a quiet house with friendly neighbours and the common areas are maintained to a good standard.

The area has plenty of free on-street parking. Streatham train station is 2 minutes walk away and has good regular connections into central London (20 minutes to London Bridge, Blackfriars, Kings Cross etc.) and beyond to Luton Airport, and the other way going towards Croydon, Sutton or Wimbledon. There are several bus lines stopping by Streatham train station, (159, N159, 118, 50, 109, 250, N250, 249) to Brixton, Croydon, Balham, Tooting, Clapham etc.
Streatham Hill and Streatham Common stations are each around 15 minutes walk away.
Streatham Common and the Rookery Gardens are 5 minutes walk away. The nearest supermarket is Morrisons by Streatham Station, but a much larger Sainsbury’s is about 10/15 minutes walk from the house, although there is talk of a big Tesco being built soon on the site of the Streatham Ice Rink on the High Street which is 2 minutes away from the house. The cinema and bars in the High Street are all about 10 minutes walk.
Rent is £850pcm, deposit £850. No bills included. A £100 retainer will secure the rental and will be deducted from the first months’ rent subject to satisfactory references being provided. Will require work and previous landlord references and proof of income/employment by way of recent bank statements.
The property falls within Lambeth’s council tax band C (about £110 for ten months of the year).
